Teaser Film Poster Research
After finding the narrative, I began researching different teaser film poster campaigns. I looked at many teasers posters including the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday 13th. I looked at these posters and also looked at theatrical posters for the same films to compare and distinguish the main differences. I suppose my main aim was to realise what makes teaser poster a teaser poster as apposed to a theatrical poster. Therefore I came up with the commonalities of killers in teaser posters; when doing this I took into consideration mis-en-scene, costume, facial expression, lighting, body language, camera angles etc. With this insight I hope to use my knowledge gained to produce my own teaser poster.
